Inka Trail to Machu Picchu - Cusco

01st day: Cusco - km82 - Wayllabamba

We leave from Cusco early at six o’ clock to Km82, from Km82 we will start to hike we will crossing Urubamba bridge and hike to the northwest side, we will get Miskay at 2800m, continuing we will get Llactapata at 2650m, we will get our first campsite Wayllabamba at 3000m after 5 hours and half, overnight there.

02nd day: Wayllabamba - Pacaymayu

After the breakfast at the first campsite, we will start to hike and this day we will get to Warmihuañusca Pass at 4200m, during our hiking we will enjoy the view about llamas and alpacas and we will surrounded by ichu grass, continuing we will view some bird and maybe Andean bear, after to get pass we will descend to the next campiste Pacaymayu at 3600m after 6 hours and half where we overnight.

03rd day: Pacaymayu - Wiñay Wayna

After the breakfast we will start to hike and get a small place Rukuracay at 3800m, after that we will can enjoy the beautiful view of some mountain of Pumasilli Range, after that we will descend to Yanacocha and to get Sayacmarca at 3624m once to get it we will get more information about it from our guide because we will see liturgical fountains, e.g. then we w continue hiking and to get other Pass Phuyupatamarca at 3700m and we will pass Inca tunnel then we will descend by stone steps that lead us to get Wiñaywayna at 2650m it is our last campsite where we will overnight.

04th day: Wiñay Wayna - Machu Picchu - Aguas Calientes - Cusco

After earlier breakfast we will start to hike up to Inti Punku – San Gate, from this point we will can enjoy the nice view sunrise over the sacred citadel of Machu Picchu at 2400m after that we will get the highest point Casa de los Guardianes, from this place we will descend till get control where we will register after that we will start to a complete guided of Inca Citadel for around 2 hours after that we will get Wayna Picchu, from this point we will have a panoramic view of Machu Picchu, after to enjoy about Machu Picchu, in the afternoon we will meet in Aguas Calientes, from this point we will take the train to come back to Cusco.
